I am Number Four

I am Number Four is a novel about a boy from the planet of Lorien- one of the nine people that were sent to Earth when the battle was raging in Lorien and Loriens were loosing. Their last hope. They came to Earth in hope of peace, yet the enemy follows, hunting them each by each. Number Four, also known as John Smith, is next to die. He is number four. And Number Three, Two, and One, are already dead. They can all only be killed in order as long as they remain apart from each other, away. Yet that may just make them weaker, less strong. Maybe being together is what they need the most right now. Yet there are risks- big risks.
Four finds a lot of friends in the unlikeliest of places, in the unlikeliest of peoples, and even so, many miracles. Finding the father in Henri and finding that his dog, Bernie Kosar, is a chimaera is the easy part. Trying to make the right decision all the time is what is really hard. And the wrong choice may destroy him any time, any day. So, he better be pretty careful about who to trust. 'Cause bad guys can act good for some time as well. Then again, good guys can be bad. It all matters on him. However, Four has legacies, as so do all of the others. So does Six. With the Magadorians on their trail, hungry for distruction, choices are limited. However, there are some.

10000000000 OUT OF 10!!!! AND A STANDING OVATION!
Legend of Zelda ~Four Swords~
Hi everyone. Today, I will be blogging about the two books I got for Christmas: Legend of Zelda Manga: Four Swords! This is another manga featuring Link, much like Majora's Mask. However, this time, there are five Links- each for each personality of Link: Green (focused and motivated), Blue (hotheaded and aggressive), Red (innocent and optimistic), and Vio (calm and collected). There may even be a Shadow Link somewhere... Together, they have to make a team. Yet Link is so used to not being in a team- or being a one-man team. Can they make it? Or will they be overwhelmed with the need to argue?
In these two volumes, Link and his other personalities go on an adventure to rescue Princess Zelda (per usual) and the six maidens from Shadow Link. Shadow Link is a powerful and sinister enemy. But there are worse things than him. Vaati and Ganon are one. Yet wherever dark, there will be light. Light is what they need.
Four Swords is a manga about teamwork, belief, loyalty, and darkness and light. To defeat the darkness that resides, become one again and harness the power of the Four Sword. Trust me... Trust each other....
'He only made trouble... So that we'd notive him. He was tired of being ignored. He wanted to be with us... to be with his family.'
'A shadow usually only ever follows its body. It never gets to lead the way.'
***I give this book a 9.65 out of 10! Great manga!***

Egyptian Chronicles: The Horned Viper
The Horned Viper is the second book in The Egyptian Chronicles. It is about Isis (named after the goddess of magic) and Hopi. They are brothers and sisters, and orphans. Their parents were taken by crocodiles, leaving Hopi with a limping leg and Isis with a fear of crocodiles and water. Therefore, when a mysterious and rich man named Hat-Neb wishes to take Isis and he dance partner, Mut and the musicians, Sheri and Kia on a boat trip down the Nile. At first, Nerfert and Paneb, Isis and Hopi's guardians, are reluctant, but later on, they agree.
On this journey, Isis will have to overcome her fear of the river and Sobek, the crocodile god. With they make it through the journey unscathed? Or with the danger that faces them, in every turn just finish them off? As they get closer and closer towards their destination yet father and father away from home, it seems that the close relationship that Isis and Hopi shared is just getting farther and farther away. Yet in order to beat what they thought they could trust, they would need each other. And believe in each other. Would they be able pull it together in time for them to save their lives? Or will they close their eyes towards the obvious and lead themselves into danger? Will they be able to discard the secrets and tension between themselves?
The Horned Viper is a novel that is told in Isis and Hopi's perspectives. Both boys and girls are bound to enjoy it!
***I give this book a 8.5 out of 10!***
