The Supernaturalist

Again, Eoin Colfer, author of the much-loved Artemis Fowl series, has written an amazing book called the Supernaturalist. I love this book as much as I loved the Artemis Fowl books, and recommend it to every adventure lover and supernatural lover alike. It is definitely an amazing book. Also, I have to state that Eoin Colfer writes the most amazing ends to his books, ever.

Featuring Cosmo Hill, a former captive in the Clarrisa Fayne Institute for the Parentally Challenged, jumping off the roof of a building in the first chapter. What a startling introduction.... Then he almost dies. And that is where the adventure of his life begins.

Meet the Supernaturalists. Mona, Stefan, and Ditto. Each have a long history behind them, full of sorrow, death, and pain. Yet now they are together, part of each other's family, life, and have a bond with each other, only to be separated in death. The tightest of the tight friendships, one bound by hardships, loyalty, trust, and belief.

Mona is the only girl supernaturalist of their group, and according to Cosmo, has her own beauty.  She's the mechanic of the group, and more of her history will be included in the book.

Stefan is their 'leader'. He is the mind in their group, the one who sets down plans to carry into action. He has a complicated history, and one he uses to help find motivation on killing the Parasites.

Ditto is a Bartoli baby. At the age of an adult, he's the eldest. But due to the fact that he's a Baroli baby, he's short, and has the complexion of a six year old. He's situation gives him a few abilities, one of them including the ability to pass as an actual 6 year old. But his brain is absolutely high-tech, and he has the brain capacity of a grown adult, if not even more.

These four amazing people make up the Supernaturalists- a group of people who go around saving the world from the Parasites. At least that's what they think, anyway.

Eoin Colfer wrote yet another amazing book, and I thoroughly love all his books, and recommend them to everyone from 8-16!!!

*** I give this book a 9.89 out of 10!!!!***
