Zoobreak

As another book by Gordon Korman, Zoobreak is yet to be another great read for kids and teens. I do not think I have met more hilarious a writer before! As the author of countless numbers of amazing books, I am entertained by every one of them!

Zoobreak is a hilarious story of a few friends, an evil zookeeper, and a bunch of loose animals. 'Zoobreak: the release of some animals from the inside of a zoo, sometimes illegal, always dangerous...' So says the back of the book. With the start of a very precious monkey by the name of Cleopatra being stolen, Zoobreak starts will the thrill of action. Savannah, Ben, Griffin, and Savannah's dog, Luthor, are determined to find her. But what if this mystery leads them into trouble? Into a zoo? Into some serious zoobreaking.

To introduce the three main characters:

Savannah is an animal lover and an animal expert. Known to her classmates as a complete animal nerd, when it comes to animals, Savannah is the one to go to. She took in a dog named Luthor, and and money called Cleopatra, Cleo for short, she gets very attached to them. Not to mention the few dozen other pets she took in. And so begins the story of Savannah and her friends trying to get back Cleo.

Griffin is called 'The Man With the Plan'. Known for getting things done, he's a great friend of Savannah's, and wishes to help her get Cleopatra back. However, when faced with court, adults, and an evil zookeeper, he is unsure of how he should make a plan to make things right for them.

Ben has a problem. He has times when he randomly falls asleep. Whether that is in the middle of class, or at home, it doesn't matter. He sleeps for 15 minutes, wakes up, and acts like nothing happens. But it's not a good thing for Ben, nor is it something his parent's are deciding to ignore. This may be the last chance Ben gets to get into something big with Griffin before he is shipped off to boarding school. Well, that's Griffin's reasoning, anyway.

These three have worked together before, as well as a three other kids, to crack a certain case of a Babe Ruth baseball card. The three being a computer whiz, an actor, and an expert climber. They come together again to save Cleo. Will they succeed?

Gordon Korman writes an amazing book kids of all ages will enjoy. I recommend this to kids that love adventure stories. Ages 6-10.

The only flaw would be that the kids are way too perfect. Good morals, and even better skills. This would never happen in real life. Would it?

***I give this book a 8.9 out of 10. Totally comical!***
