Tandy is the daughter of Malcolm and Maud Angel, two powerful people. In their family of Angels, they did not have what families usually have between parents and their children.  In a relationship likely of a teacher and their student, Maud and Malcolm are very set on educating their children so that they can become to be upright and 'good'. Yet what is the 'good' in the world? In a world where they were brought up to be taught properly and not only founded on love and affection. In a world where they learned to put thought in front of emotion, is there a factor of 'good'?

Jame Patterson is the author of the Maximum Ride series, a great series also, and he wrote Confessions of a Murder Suspect, the tale of the Angel children after the death of their 'so-called-beloved' parents. How will they cope? Tandy is the protagonist of this story, and she is set on answer to the mystery of her parents deaths. And maybe on the way, she will uncover from secrets of her own.

Tandy is not harsh. She's not cruel, not mean, not sly just to get under people's skin. She's just the way her parents brought her up to be. Not emotional. She doesn't let her emotions get the best of her. But is that a good thing? Sure, it keep her mind sharp and her thinking unclouded, but what does it do for her humanity? Yet this is the way she's always known it to be. Yet maybe unclouded judgment will be the key to figuring out this mess of her family, her life, and her parents. Uncovering secrets she never knew, and secrets she didn't want to know, James Patterson makes the interesting case of a teenage murder suspect. With lots of tension, adventure, and suspense, Confessions of a Murder Suspect can be a bit puzzling at first, but overall, it's an okay book.

***I give this book an 8.4 out of 10!***
