Chi une vie de chat, is a great read for kids learning french, and young kids who read in french. I personally love Chi because of the super cute drawings and being the fact that there isn't much actual french dialogue in it, most of the meaning is conveyed by the pictures. Isn't Chi, adorable?? okay, maybe not in that picture....
With the adventures of Chi, she roams everywhere, plays with everything, everyone, and does everything a cat does. Including getting chased by a dog and climbing up trees.
However, I warn you: half of the dialog with Chi is something along the lines of 'mia!' 'miaw!' 'nya!' or 'nyar!'. With hilarious friends and a hilarious family, Chi is one hilariously funny cat. A super cute hilariously funny cat. For french-learning kids out there, don't read this book because you want to learn french. Read it because you like french, and you want to try to read in french. If you start reading this book because you want to learn french, that won't bode very well, due to the fact this book doesn't supplement you with vocabulary or dialogue- you would be better off reading it for fun.
Chi une vie de chat is an amusing book, and i suggest people to read it if they like cats, cute things, and they want to read in low-level french! I personally adore this book.
By the way, this is volume 8. I suggest you start on volume 1.
***I rate this book a 8.7 out of 10!***
