After they are captured by Kony's Rebels, an Army that is terrorizing all of Uganda, they make a plan to run away. At the end, they come back to Uganda, but are they welcome there? Read the story of which they meet heartbreak, sorrow, hope, hate, and wishes. Jacob is strong and determined, but will he be able to pull his friends through the things that have happened to them? Will they be scarred for life? They all wonder if coming back home was the right thing to do. Sharon E. Mackay weaves an intricate story with the children from Uganda and what they go through. Many will be surprised at the revelation of the truth. Government soldiers and Kony's army is out hunting for each other. Meanwhile, Kony is abducting children by the hundreds. Will this group of kids be able to turn the tide around?
